Bale Mountains Trekking Tours Ethiopia was created to share the landscapes, wildlife and culture of the Bale Mountains with travelers from around the world.
The Bale Mountains are a remarkable highland wilderness of Afro-alpine plateaus, forests, valleys, wildlife and rich Oromo culture. Bale Mountains National Park is especially famous for the Sanetti Plateau, Harenna Forest, Tullu Dimtu, the Ethiopian wolf, mountain nyala and Bale monkey.
We believe the best way to experience Ethiopia is through its landscapes, wildlife and people. Our locally guided tours are designed for travelers who want more than sightseeing—they want to experience the real Ethiopia.

Mohammed Worko
Mohammed Worko was born and grew up in Dinsho, a town deeply connected to the heart of Bale Mountains National Park. For the past 12 years, he has been guiding travelers through the park's breathtaking landscapes, unique wildlife habitats and cultural treasures.
He is a licensed tour guide and tour operator, trained at Goba Batu Tarera Tourism College in Goba Town, and currently serves as Managing Director of Bale Mountains Trekking Tours and Travel Company of Ethiopia.
