Harar Jugol

Harar Jugol, the fortified historic town of Harar, is considered the fourth-holiest city of Islam, packed within ancient walls with more than eighty mosques and hundreds of shrines along its narrow, colourful lanes.

Harar is also famous for its centuries-old tradition of feeding wild hyenas by hand at night, and for its distinctive basket-weaving and coffee culture.
