5-Day Bale Mountains Adventure Itinerary

Meet your guide and scout in Dinsho and begin trekking through the Bale highlands. Look for mountain nyala, Menelik's bushbuck, warthogs and endemic birds.

Overnight: Sodota Camp

Trek through beautiful Afro-alpine landscapes toward Wasema. Enjoy wildlife observation, photography and spectacular mountain scenery.

Overnight: Wasema Camp

Continue trekking across the high plateau. Enjoy the remote wilderness, mountain lakes and endemic wildlife.

Overnight: Garba Guracha Camp

Trek/drive-supported exploration of the Sanetti Plateau, one of Ethiopia's great high-altitude landscapes. Visit the area around Tullu Dimtu, one of Ethiopia's highest peaks, and search for Ethiopian wolves and other highland wildlife.

Overnight: Camp/lodge

Descend toward the spectacular Harenna Forest. Explore the forest and its wildlife, birds and unique vegetation before continuing to Goba/Dinsho and ending the trek.

Overnight: End of tour
